Handsome tree for lawns and naturalized areas. Forms a graceful medium sized tree with horizontal and drooping branches. Foliage is dark green during the growing season turn golden yellow in fall. Hop - like fruit add interest in late - summer.  Prefers moist, well drained soils. Will tolerate dry locations.

Slow growing, but none the less a handsome and majestic tree. An irregular, rounded shape and tolerant of a range of soils. Strong, disease resistant and drought tolerant.
