One of the darkest leaved Heuchera we grow! Younger foliage is bronze purple with deep purple undersides then matures to a dark purple that is almost black. The leaves can grow to be larger than your hand! Cream flowers are produced on 30" scapes in midsummer. To keep the foliage from fading, plant in a shady area.


Heuchera 'Obsidian'

Black (and I mean black), shiny, broad, smooth, round leaves. Unrivaled in the "contrast" department, this plant will set off any light colored flower or foliage near it. Try it with Creeping Jenny. Cream colored flowers appear in late spring to mid summer on 2-foot black stems and make excellent cut flowers. Darkest leaves in full sun.

A showy hybrid that makes a unique addition to your shade garden or use it as a groundcover to suppress weeds. Foliage is chartreuse with deep plum red veining. In warmer temperatures the red coloring in the foliage may fade to amber but will return to red in the fall.

This breathtaking hibiscus has huge lavender flowers with ruffled edges. Each successive year the plant will produce larger flowers. Shrub-like growth habit with maple-like foliage.

This looks too exotic and tropical to survive our winters, but it does. From late summer into fall, pure white flowers the size of dinner plates will stop you in your tracks. Keep it happy the season long with ample moisture. A prolific bloomer.

Hibiscus moscheutos 'Fireball'

Flaming red blossoms with overlapping petals can be up to 12" across and will get larger with each successive season. Blooms in late summer on a compact, shrub-like perennial. Leaves are deeply cut with a purple blush and red veining.

Bicolored flowers ranging in shades from dark red to light pink with a dark red center. The alternating petal colors give the flowers a pinwheel look. Compact shrub-like foliage supports blooms in mid to late summer.
