Yes, I have been assured by our supplier that university studies have shown this plant to be hardy to zone 4! Black petals with a bright yellow stripe near the base. Flowers in early summer, tolerant of wet areas, good cut flower.

A great accent plant for a late spring garden.  Very distinct royal purple blooms streaked with white markings.  Blooms late May to early June.  Be sure to plant in well drained soil and avoid overwatering.
