Join artist and choreographer Hanna Satterlee for this summer site-specific performance-making workshop in the beautiful Horsford Gardens! With guided structures for creating (socially-distanced) group, solo and duet work around the gardens, we will use the landscape and the environment as our key inspiration and active collaborator. The five-day workshop will culminate in a public showing of our magical movement tour. Specifically suited for dancers and choreographers interested in creating choreography in an outdoor setting.
Participants must bring their own water and snacks, a journal and pen, and wear comfortable clothes and study supportive shoes. This workshop is open to all body types and abilities and will accommodate any interested participants. The workshops and performance will be tailored to COVID-19 rules and regulations, including appropriate space between all bodies. Space is limited to 9 participants.
All registrations will be through email. Payment through venmo, paypal, or mail. Registration and payment due by July 1.
