Online Purchase, Return, and Refund Policies
WE DO NOT SHIP PLANTS
For online orders, credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing.
PLANTS – We do not ship live plants in the mail. All plant purchases are for local pickup at our nursery in Charlotte, Vermont, or local delivery. Options are in checkout.
GIFT CERTIFICATES – We mail gift certificates within three business days of purchase via the United States Postal Service (first-class). They are also available to pick up upon request. We do not prefer to email gift certificates but can if needed. We cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date.
BULK MATERIAL – Deliveries are scheduled after we receive payment. We aim to complete deliveries within 7-10 business days, but sometimes they are completed sooner. During the busy spring season, sometimes they can be later. Our delivery team calls the afternoon before or the morning of your delivery. They will still complete the delivery if they do not speak to anyone. Please ensure the location where you would like material placed is well-marked with a tarp or stake.
WREATHS & CENTERPIECES – We ship wreaths and centerpieces seasonally via the following carriers at our discretion.

If the customer’s email is provided, we send confirmation and tracking number information with each order. Please ensure all shipping addresses are accurate and can be accepted by any carrier.
We usually begin shipping wreaths and centerpieces the Monday after Thanksgiving. Gifts ordered prior to our first ship date will be scheduled to ship on the first ship day unless otherwise requested. Once the first ship date has reached capacity, orders are shipped the next available day. Any orders received after that date are shipped within three business days upon receipt of the order. We cannot guarantee delivery of gifts by Christmas or other specific dates.
Shipping and Handling Costs
TAX – Most plants are subject to Vermont sales tax. Food-bearing plants such as fruit trees and vegetable starts are tax exempt per Vermont state law. Gift certificates are not taxable. Wreaths and centerpieces shipped within and out of the state of Vermont are subject to applicable sales tax.
LOCAL DELIVERY - Local delivery costs are based on the zip code of the shipping address in checkout. If a shipping address falls outside of our usual scope of work, you may submit the order but we will quote a distance delivery rate via email or over the phone. If you do not want the order after a distance delivery quote, we can issue a refund to the card used to purchase the order. Sometimes we can deliver wreaths and centerpieces locally upon request for a delivery charge, please contact us directly.
SHIPPING – Shipping for wreaths and centerpieces within the continental U.S. is included unless otherwise noted. Gifts sent to Alaska are subject to an additional amount per package. Additional rates may apply in special circumstances. We are not currently shipping wreaths to island states or territories.
Refunds and Returns
PLANTS / LOCAL DELIVERY - Online orders may be refunded to the card used for purchase within 10 days of the purchase, so long as the item has not been picked up and/or delivered. Please refer to our plant guarantee for details on specific plant warranties and store credit.
WREATHS AND CENTERPIECES - Online orders may be refunded to the card used for purchase within 10 days of the purchase, so long as the item has not shipped. If the item has shipped and is not satisfactory, please contact us directly via phone or email.
