![Another new addition to the nursery this season: American Persimmon! Have you ever tried it?
.
Persimmon is quite tannic until very ripe. Once it’s super squishy, this custard-y fruit is tasty eaten fresh, dried, or in baked goods and pies.
.
We will be growing the cultivar ‘Golden Delight’ known for its larger fruit that ripens much earlier, a plus for VT gardeners 👍
.
Tolerant of clay soils and a wonderful addition to the homestead for you and wildlife.
