Thirty or forty years ago, every house was landscaped with evergreen shrubs-pointy ones on the corners and by the door, and flat ones in between. Recent trends have incorporated flowers and significant variations in evergreen shrubs. We carry some of the new hybrids with great textures and colors that are being developed each year. Because we are Vermont’s oldest nursery and honor tradition, we also grow many of the old fashioned hedge and foundation plants. Many small evergreens also provide important habitat for migrant bird species in the landscape.
