Yoga at the Nursery
Join Yoga Teacher Sarah Quinttus for a special 4-part series of Yoga at the Nursery this fall! Join us for one or all four classes. Each class will have a specific focus, carefully designed to help you build strength, gain flexibility and clear the mind to help you find ease and comfort during long days of gardening. Classes are open to all levels and no prior yoga experience is necessary. BYO mat if you have one, but Sarah will have a few extras with her.
Space and class numbers are limited so registration is required. Classes will be held outdoors at the nursery. During inclement weather classes will be cancelled. Sign up below, or call the nursery at (802) 425-2811.
Classes are $5/class and all proceeds benefit the Vermont Foodbank.
Wednesday, 9/19 – 7:30 AM
Grow with the Flow – Begin with a well-rounded complete practice to help you create a connection with your body and breath.
Sunday, originally 9/23 but rescheduled due to weather, stay tuned for new date!
Strengthen Your Roots – This class will focus on the lower body. We will build strength in the legs and open the hips to help you sustain long hours of work in the garden.
Wednesday, 9/26 – 7:30 AM
More Core – A key to spinal health and longevity is having a strong core to support your body. Use this class to create a strong, stable center and softly release into your low back.
Friday, 9/28 – 7:30 AM
Pulling Out the Weeds – It is often said that our mind is like a garden. It takes time, careful attention, and energy to create an environment where healthy things can grow. Use this restorative practice, breath work, and meditation to “pull out the weeds” and find peace in your own mind.
